Pictures of Knit Together

Knit Together Methil was formed on 4th October 2022 to help individuals cope with the rise in energy prices.
The idea was to reporpose wool that is no longer wanted and reuse it to make blankets, scarfs, hats and gloves etc therefore reducing what would have ended up in landfill.
However the group works on a diversity of projects that will benefit our community.
To date we have supported Cameron Hospital,  Renal Unit at Victorial Hospital, Special Care Baby Unit at Victoria Hospital, Methil Children’s Community Initiative, Woodlands Nursery, Dementia Unit at Walton House, Home Start, Cats Shelter, Day Nursery and Residential Home at Methil Care Village,  St Vincent de Paul, Children’s Christmas Gift Appeal and Save Weymss Ancient Cave Society.
We have raised over £700 for Turkey/Syria earthquake appeal, over £600 for Mcmillian Cancer Support and £200 for Autism Rocks.
